 +name: The Arcanist's Mark of Storage
 +author: The DM
 +system: D&D 5
 +system: D&D 3.5
 +flavor: The Arcanist, known to some as Dancing Albatross, designed this item to store his most secret documents, after they were once stolen from him.

 +description: MULTILINE
 +This item is actually a circular tattoo, which marks the opening to a non-dimensional space. The person wearing the tattoo may place one item (or one container of items) inside by pushing it through the area of the tattoo, and can remove the item by pinching the skin of the Mark and pulling. The maximum weight and volume depend on the size of the Mark, but each Mark is up to two feet deep, and is as wide as its opening. This item is beneficial to wizards, who use it to store scrolls and wands. Removing the stored item is a move action that provokes an attack of opportunity.
 +
 +While the bearer of a Mark lives, only his own fingers can remove the hidden item. After he dies, anyone can remove it. An Anti-magic Field or dead magic zone suppresses the opening temporarily, trapping items inside. A targeted Dispel Magic suppresses the item for 1d4 rounds. Disjunction destroys the Mark, but a Wish spell can reach into the non-dimensional space and retrieve the item.
 +
 +A person can bear up to three Marks of Storage at once.

 +==== Brand of Storage ====
 +
 +The Brand of Storage works exactly like the Mark, but it is burned into the skin instead of being engraved, and creating it causes the loss of one permanent hit point.
 +
 +==== Seal of Storage ====
 +
 +The Seal of Storage is a similar item with a much lower capacity, which can be worn as a pendant or placed on the cover of a book or other flat surface. As a pendant, it does not prevent the use of a neck-slotted item. The Seal has a 1/2" diameter, and can store an object up to two cubic inches, weighing up to half a pound.
