Last updated 2013-04-05 by .
FIXME: In progress.

This was taken from . Take a look at that site. There's a lot of good stuff, including a couple of campaigns in prose form.
The following are a series of questions to try to help prompt players when they are writing character backgrounds. None of these questions represent required info, I just find such a list helpful to anyone writing a character's history.

Question
From Zioth, on 08-12-03
For the past seven years, I've been DMing a PBeM. The remainder of my RPG experience has been with a free-form game I made up, where the characters don't come with built-in personalities (so you're basically role-playing yourself).

My God Says to Kill Children, So I'll Kill Children
A post on the wizards.com Character Development board by The Great Alchemist, on May 28, 2003 02:02 AM.
I've always thought that the religious aspects of Alignment are often overlooked, particuarly when it comes to paladins. I have always thought that a Paladin's moral code should be more strongly based on his religion than it is commonly assumed.

This has been pared down from the original.

In my campaign, it is assumed that apprentices can cast a few minor cantrips after spending many years in study and apprenticeship. These are short-lived cantrips with no lasting effect and they can't do anything to anyone that really impacts them in an even minorly lasting manner. Things like creating a quick

Moose Factsplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigMoose Facts
* Did you know that “Moose Watching” is illegal in twelve cities and towns throughout the USA, because of fatal injuries caused by it? * Did you know that Bullwinkle Moose was the real name of a Pennsylvania farmer? The show was inspired by Mr. Moose, who was a friend of the producer's sister. Rocky Squirrel, however, was a completely original name.
Moose Pageplugin-autotooltip__default plugin-autotooltip_bigMoose Page
Looking at this Moose page, you may ask, “what is this infatuation you have with moose?”
I'm not quite sure I can explain it myself. Maybe it's their huge size (male moose grow to 7'6“ at the shoulder and 1000lb). Perhaps it's their agile movements (moose can move very quietly through underbrush, despite their size and mass). Maybe it's those fancy gadgets they carry on top of their heads (moose antlers can measure as much as 6ft from tip to tip, and weigh up to 90lb as a pair). May…
