Lyre of Dischord

This miniature lyre is permanently out of tune, and will only play bad chords. When the wielder strums a chord and succeeds at a DC20 perform check, all enemies within fifty feet must make a DC18 will save or spend their next turn attacking whichever target was nearest at the time the chord was strummed, as per the Confusion spell. If the wielder's perform check does not exceed 15, or if a natural 1 is rolled, allies and even the wielder himself must make the save as well.

This item may not be used more than once every four rounds. Targets who cannot hear the chord are not affected, nor are creatures who are immune to mind-effecting spells.
